Your Questions About Church Discipleship, Answered for Pastors and Church Leaders

20 answers to what pastors and church leaders ask most before bringing daily discipleship to their congregation.

Getting started

What is Abide365?

+

Abide365 is a daily discipleship app for churches. Members get a short daily rhythm of Scripture, a lesson, prayer, and a guided reflection. Pastors get a Shepherd Dashboard that shows how the congregation is walking and who may need care. Each church gets its own branded web address.

Who is Abide365 for?

+

It is built for pastors and church leaders who want their congregation to practice discipleship every day, not only on Sunday, and for the church members who use it. A pastor or church admin signs the church up; members then join through the church's invite code.

How does my church get started?

+

Three steps. First, create your sanctuary: sign up as a pastor or church admin, choose how many seats you need, and pick your own web address, like yourchurch.abide365.io. Second, make it yours with your logo, colors, vision, and leadership. Third, invite your congregation by copying one ready-made invitation and sending it by text or email.

How do my members join?

+

From your Shepherd Dashboard, click Copy Invitation. It copies a ready-to-send message with your web address and your church invite code. Members open your address, register, and enter the code, and they start their disciple walk.

Can someone join without my church's invite code?

+

No. Only people who have your church invite code can register as members, which keeps your congregation's space private. You can free up a seat any time by deactivating a member.

Does Abide365 replace Sunday teaching or small groups?

+

No. Abide365 supports the other six days of the week. It gives every member a simple daily practice and gives you a clear view of who is thriving and who needs a call, so the discipleship you lead on Sunday carries through the week.

The daily member experience

What do members do each day?

+

Each day a member opens the sanctuary to three things: the Daily Word (Scripture and a morning prayer), the Daily Lesson (structured courses that go deeper one lesson at a time), and the Daily Walk (a short guided conversation that turns reading into reflection and then into action). It is built to take minutes, not hours.

Is Abide365 available in Spanish?

+

Yes. Members can use Abide365 in English or Spanish, including the interface, lessons, and Scripture.

Does it work on phones?

+

Yes. Abide365 works in any modern browser and can be added to a phone's home screen like an app, so members do not need to download anything from an app store.

Do members get reminders?

+

Yes, optionally. Members can receive text and email nudges that help them build a lasting daily habit.

Pastoral care and privacy

How will I know which members need care?

+

When a member's Daily Walk or reflection suggests they may be struggling, a care flag appears for that member on your Shepherd Dashboard so you can reach out before someone slips away. You can also flag a member yourself, and mark a flag resolved after you have talked with them.

Can I read what my members write?

+

No. You see that a care flag was raised for a member, but not the journal or Daily Walk content that triggered it. Your dashboard shows engagement and summaries, not private entries.

Is my congregation's information private?

+

Each church has its own separate space, and only people with your church invite code can join. Members' personal journals stay between them and the platform. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is collected, how AI processes it, and who can see what.

Does the AI replace pastoral care?

+

No. AI helps generate devotional content and guided conversation, grounded in Scripture, and it helps surface care flags. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, and Abide365 is not a licensed counseling, medical, or crisis service. Care flags do not involve continuous human monitoring and must not be relied on in an emergency. You remain the shepherd.

Can I message members directly?

+

Yes. You can send encouragement one-on-one from your dashboard, and members reply from their own inbox. Messages stay within your church.

Which Bible text does Abide365 use?

+

Abide365's AI content is grounded in a Scripture database. English Scripture uses the New International Version (NIV, 1984), and Spanish Scripture uses the Reina-Valera 1960 text.

Pricing and the company

How much does Abide365 cost?

+

Abide365 costs $19.95 per seat per month, where one seat is one active member. There are no tiers and no setup fees, and every feature is included. If your church needs more than 50 seats, contact us for pricing.

What counts as a seat? Do pastors and staff need seats?

+

One seat is one active member of your congregation. Pastors and church leaders using the Shepherd Dashboard do not use up member seats.

Can I add, free up, or reduce seats?

+

Yes. Add seats any time from your dashboard; the change takes effect right away and is prorated for the rest of the billing period. If a member leaves, deactivate them to free their seat; their record is kept and you can reactivate them later if there is room. Reductions are scheduled for your next renewal, so you are never charged for capacity you have released.

Who makes Abide365, and how do I reach them?

+

Abide365 is designed, built, owned, and operated by De Lo Alto Media, LLC in Miami, FL, and was founded by Dr. Luis A. Olivo. Email support@abide365.io or use the contact form on the Contact page.
